SWARM_COHESION_PROTOCOL
The Hive does not rely on a single central controller. Instead, every Specter drone runs a local version of Boids Algorithm. This creates "Emergent Behavior"—where simple rules result in complex, bird-like flocking.
THE THREE CORE RULES
1. SEPARATION
- Goal: Avoid crowding neighbors.
- Logic: If a neighbor enters the "Safety Sphere," move in the opposite direction.
2. ALIGNMENT
- Goal: Match the swarm velocity.
- Logic: Steer toward the average heading of all nearby drones.
3. COHESION
- Goal: Stay with the group.
- Logic: Move toward the average position (center of mass) of local neighbors.
Tactical Advantage: Because the rules are processed locally on the drone's "Edge AI" chip, the swarm can have 10 drones or 10,000 drones without slowing down the network.
